The Sales Development Representative is the first point of contact for our prospective customers, as such, they play a critical role in creating a positive and lasting impression. They are responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads and developing relationships through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach. Below is a list of non-exhaustive responsibilities.Responsibilities:
- Actively and intentionally prospects, bringing in a high volume of new prospective clients for the direct sales team.
- Employs a strategic approach to prospecting with a high level of professionalism.
- Follows up on all new incoming leads within the prescribed time frame and meets the required outreach volume.
- Maintains active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to build and increase interest.
- Maintains meticulous prospect records in Sales Force and Hub Spot.
- Consistently achieves or exceeds goals.
- Partners closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams to ensure leads are properly qualified.
- Qualifies, books meetings, and hands off new opportunities to sales representatives.
- Cultivates strong relationships and quickly builds trust with stakeholders throughout the company.
- Develops and maintains technical competency in all Token solutions and the competitive landscape.
- Addresses questions or concerns from prospects and differentiates Token’s offerings effectively.
- Appropriately prioritizes activities and manages time effectively to focus on high-potential opportunities.
- Commits to continuous self-reflection, learning, and improvement. Solicits feedback from prospects, customers, and colleagues to understand what’s working well and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identifies best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.
- Attends networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with prospects via multiple mediums and stakeholders throughout our organization. Must be willing to communicate transparently and not shy away from discussing challenging topics/risks/customer feedback.
Resilience: Able to remain persistent and adeptly navigate sales objections as they come up.
Learning Agility: Quickly learns how our product fits into the overall cybersecurity strategy of prospective customers while continuing to gain deep product and industry expertise.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field or 3 years of related experience.
